Utz Quality Foods is seeking a motivated and experienced Production Supervisor to oversee our Weekend Night Shift operations. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives on the production floor, values teamwork, and is passionate about driving results through people development, safety, and operational excellence. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Lead and supervise the weekend night shift production team, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency in a fast-paced environment. * Manage daily production schedules and monitor performance using tools like RedZone and ERP systems. * Enforce Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), SQF food safety standards, and OSHA regulations. * Oversee interviewing, training, and performance management of team members. * Collaborate with logistics, QA, maintenance, and HR to ensure smooth operations and meet business goals. * Maintain accurate data in EAM, ADP, and other systems for maintenance and HR tasks. * Track and report KPIs including output, quality, labor efficiency, and downtime. * Foster a culture of safety, quality, and inclusion through active coaching and mentoring. * Be a visible leader on the production floor, providing support, feedback, and resolving issues with patience and empathy. REQUIREMENTS: * 2+ years of experience leading diverse teams in a production or manufacturing setting. * Comfortable leading by example and staying hands-on on the production floor. * Strong emotional intelligence, patience, and ability to manage in high-pressure situations. * Dedicated to developing talent, recognizing achievements, and supporting career growth. * Proven ability to troubleshoot equipment and process issues effectively. * Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint). * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and decision-making abilities. * Familiarity with food safety standards (GMPs, HACCP, SQF) preferred. * High school diploma required; additional education a plus. * Bilingual in English/Spanish or French is highly desirable.
