OVERVIEW

Busy Brampton manufacturer requires a dedicated and experienced Production Supervisor to oversee thier weekend Night Shft manufacturing operations (pm to 6am Friday, Saturday and Sunday). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in factory settings and a deep understanding of assembly line processes. This role is crucial for ensuring that production goals are met while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. The Production Supervisor will lead a team, manage workflow, and implement best practices in our manufacturing facility.

SKILLS

• Proven experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
• Proficiency in operating forklifts and other warehouse machinery.
• Familiarity with assembly processes and the use of hand tools and power tools.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing workflow.

• Supervise daily production activities, ensuring that all operations run smoothly and efficiently.
• Monitor the assembly line processes to meet production targets while maintaining quality standards.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate production staff to enhance performance and productivity.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment and machinery to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance.
• Collaborate with other departments to optimize production schedules and resolve any operational issues.
• Maintain accurate records of production metrics and report on performance to upper management.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
