General Accountability
Reporting directly to the CEO, Production Support is responsible for working the production line as instructed and strictly following all health and safety guidelines. Production Support personnel operate and maintain the production line equipment in accordance with Company protocols.

SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Adherence to product quality and safety standards
  • Possess a positive attitude
  • Willingness to try/ adapt
  • Maintain all aspects of our food safety program to ensure compliance with CFIA
  • Ensure all raw ingredients and bulk items are stored properly - rotation of inventory to prevent product expiry
  • Push, pull, lift, move and stack product through various machines
  • Ensure production targets are met
  • Operate and maintain machinery and production line equipment
  • Monitor the assembly line and removing faulty products
  • Work on the production line and meeting production targets
  • Train new team members
  • Assist in other area where needed
  • Report any issues to the supervisor on duty
  • Maintain tidy, clean work environment
  • Follow policies and GMP’s
  • Help manage product inventory
  • Help manage ingredient inventory
  • Maintain product consistency
  • Other duties as required

HEALTH AND SAFETY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Must follow the protocols for attire and GMP’s when entering the manufacturing facility
  • Ensure uniforms are held to standard
  • Report any incidents or accidents to the Fabrication Manager

SKILL AND ATTRIBUTES:

QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE:

  • High School Diploma
  • Food Manufacturing experience
  • Some mechanical knowledge
  • Able to lift 20-50 pounds
