JOB SUMMARY:

As Production Support Engineer you will be accountable for optimizing the performance and safety of all manufacturing equipment to meet company KPIs. In this role, you will oversee equipment performance by assisting Shift Engineers in resolving electrical, electronics, and communication issues encountered with process machines. Additionally, you will play a vital role in minimizing the impact of aging equipment by upgrading and enhancing communication systems across various systems and machines.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure strict adherence to the Company’s Health and Safety policy at all times.
  • Promote the development of quality standards and procedures, taking ownership of tasks, and continually seeking opportunities for improvement.
  • Diagnosing and resolving electrical and communication systems issues on manufacturing equipment.
  • Enhancing process equipment reliability by analyzing performance data and recommending pertinent upgrades and improvements to machinery.’
  • Providing training and development opportunities for engineering staff in diagnosing communication issues.
  • Establishing and nurturing a robust external support network.
  • Reducing the effects of obsolescence through redesign and efficient maintenance practices.
  • Ensuring clear and effective communication through Engineering logs (Idhammar) and during shift handovers.
