Job Summary: The Production Support Handler is responsible for providing material handling, inventory, and data entry support to ensure efficient production operations. This role involves operating a forklift, managing material flow, maintaining accurate inventory records, and updating data in the company’s ERP system (Sage or similar). The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and experienced in both warehouse and production environments. Key Responsibilities: Transport raw materials, components, and finished goods between production areas using a forklift or pallet jack. Ensure all materials are properly labeled, stored, and delivered to the correct workstations. Perform daily inventory checks and maintain accurate stock levels in the ERP system. Record material movements, usage, and adjustments in Sage or other ERP software. Assist in cycle counts and physical inventory processes. Support production by preparing material kits, packaging finished products, and staging items for shipping. Monitor material shortages and report discrepancies to the supervisor or purchasing team. Use Excel and other computer tools to update production and inventory tracking sheets. Maintain clean and organized work areas following 5S and safety standards. Collaborate with production, maintenance, and logistics teams to ensure smooth workflow. Assist in receiving and unloading deliveries as needed. Follow all company safety policies and procedures and participate in continuous improvement initiatives. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required. Forklift operation experience required. At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or production support role. Knowledge of inventory control and material handling procedures. Experience using ERP systems (Sage, SAP, Oracle, or similar). Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic computer applications. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Good communication skills and a safety-first mindset.
