We have an opportunity for a Production Support role working in the Engineering team, in our Alliston branch. This is a full-time, permanent position.

EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

 Experience in manufacturing preferred
 Ability to regularly lift up to 70 pounds
 Ability to work independently, to adapt to changing priorities and working conditions
 Computer skills including Excel experience is considered an asset
 Strong customer service skills and sense of urgency when required
 Excellent organization skills, attention to detail, methodical
 Interpersonal and communication skills, a team player
 Valid driver’s license and clean abstract, Class D license required
 Forklift certification an asset
 Ability to work overtime as required
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract

 Coordinate shipments of parts and material from vendors, to ensure they are on time as required
 Receive and check parts shipments, complete required paperwork
 Coordinate deliveries, pick up parts and material as required
 Tumbling steel as required before product goes to assemblers, cutting of stainless steel with bandsaw
 Inventory of parts and picking of parts as required
 Perform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards
 Identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation when defects are identified
 Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures
 Maintain a clean and safe work area
 Displays high quality of workmanship and professional image at all times.
 Ensures adherence to all HJV and HJVE policies and procedures.
 Ensures adherence to Health & Safety policies and applicable legislation including working in a safe manner at all times.
