Description
Production Lead CTSC Summary The Production Lead’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to, supervision of production assemblers and technicians, setting work schedules, tasking assemblers and technicians. The Production Lead will also provide regular training and guidance in line with safety, quality and ISO standards as established by ATSC. The Production Lead will oversee production teams, resolve issues, improve processes. Responsibilities · Assembly of mechanical and electrical components per established process manual · Use of power tools and hand tools to complete daily tasks · Advanced trouble shooting of mechanical and electrical components using measurement tools and meters · Follow, develop and define processes and instructions for process area · Continually assess the manufacturing documentation to determine adequacy and correctness and to communicate issues to supervisor/lead · Programming and configuring network components · Provide training and mentoring to Production Team and ensure that all training is complete · Advanced process and/or product failure/root cause analysis and recommend solutions · Coordinate with Engineering department · Ensure that the process area is compliant at all times with Company standards · Take the initiative to achieve available training that applies to process area · Provide production and schedule status updates during weekly production meetings. · Leads production teams, resolves issues, improves processes. · Others duties as assigned Qualifications · High School Diploma · 7+ years team leadership · 6+ years of hands-on experience as an assembler/technician · Analytical, creative and detail-oriented · High mechanical/electrical aptitude · 6+ years experience with industry workmanship specifications; such as, IPC 610 (soldering) and IPC 620 (Wire/Crimp), software/testing programs · Strong verbal and written communication skills · Knowledge of basic computer technology · Ability to work independently and as a team player · Demonstrate ability to multi-task several priorities and possess time management skills · Ability to read and understand drawings, basic schematics and work instructions · Must be able to differentiate color on wiring and electronic components · Ability to create a test plan and/or procedures · Must be able to create test plans, test procedures and set-up test stations · Must be able to obtain and maintain a Government security clearance Physical Demands & Work Environment · Work may be performed outside in hot and cold desert environments or inclement weather conditions · While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, demonstrate manual dexterity, talk, hear, and see (must be able to stand for long periods of time) · Must be able to lift at least 150 pounds with assistance, during the course of the workday · Personal protective equipment is required when performing work including hearing protection, safety glasses, safety footwear, and other protective equipment as required · Must be able to read, write and speak English · Must be flexible in the ability to support other process areas when needed All job requirements in the job description provided indicate the minimum level of knowledge, skills, and/or abilities deemed necessary to perform the job competently.
