Description Position Summary This position is responsible for providing guidance and work instructions to the production team. They will assist in training and coaching team members in a professional manner to ensure team safety, quality and delivery while fostering a team-oriented work environment. Production Team Leads are not responsible for Production team performance management or compensation. Duties & Responsibilities: Ensure adherence to standards within the Production team (e.g., standard work, workplace organization, OPUS-IVS policies, etc.). Exhibit professional behavior at all times; lead by example (exceed expectations of OPUS-IVS employees). Communicate with team members (e.g., production schedule, work tasks, constructive feedback, etc.); lead effective team meetings (e.g., daily start-up, weekly continuous improvement, others as needed). Track and lead continuous improvement of team performance (e.g., KPIs such as, but not limited to Health & Safety, Quality-Customer and Internal, Build-to-Schedule). Lead team problem solving activities; address issues real-time during the shift and longer-term repetitive issues impacting performance metrics with support functions (Hardware Engineering, Software Engineering, Administration, Materials, Sales, etc.). Cover absenteeism. Other duties as assigned. Requirements Qualifications: Ability to remain focused and motivate team, even in times of elevated stress. Must be organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to read and interpret mechanical assembly drawings. Must be able to multi-task and work well under pressure. Must be able to work overtime as required.
