JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

GE HealthCare Oslo is part of the Pharmaceutical Diagnostics (PDx) Integrated Supply Chain Business, a global leader in producing imaging agents administered to patients globally to improve images used to diagnose and monitor disease.
At the Oslo site we are 550 employees at the Manufacturing Plant and offices at Storo, and an R&D unit located at Oslo Science Park (Forskningsparken).
The Production Team Leader (PTL) is overall responsible for planning, managing, and providing leadership support to a shift team in packaging department by practicing our leadership behaviors in acting with humility, leading with transparency and delivering with focus. The PTL is responsible for defining targets aligned with site priorities to develop and improve manufacturing processes and drive productivity in compliance with GxP regulations. The PTL will lead a team of 15-25 employees on our journey from Good to Great with a Lean and entrepreneurial mindset.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, process, pharmaceutical or similar industry.
  • Experience in LEAN manufacturing and practicing LEAN tools to drive improvements.
  • Experience in GMP, Good Manufacturing Practice
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and implement Best Practices and deal with high levels of ambiguity
  • Proficient in English and Norwegian (or Swedish/Danish).
  • Proficient in using standard Microsoft Office systems.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and grow the team through teaching and coaching.
  • Lead, motivate and manage the team to achieve required targets and behaviors.
  • Coordinate and follow-up onboarding and training of employees in compliance to GxP requirements.
  • Identify improvement areas and drive implementation of LEAN productivity initiatives.
  • Engage and drive continues improvements cross-functionally and cross-teams.
  • Ensure standard work and 5S are establish and improved.
  • Coordinate Kaizen weekly meetings and drive actions to improvements.
  • Lead daily Tier meeting, performance management reporting Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and escalation through our Daily Management System.
  • Resource/workforce planning.
  • Drive and solve quality deviations and CAPA’s together with packaging team and functions across the site.
  • Drive EHS and safety performance for the team.
  • Provide support for new product introduction into packaging.
