ichiban UK is a privately owned sushi manufacturer producing own label and branded sushi for the UK market .
We are looking for a Machine Room Team Leader at our site in Earl Stonham, near Stowmarket, Bury St Edmunds and Ipswich.
Transport- We have a bus service running from Ipswich to site for all shift patterns (£6 for a return ticket).
Shift pattern is a rotating 2 week pattern: Week 1 - Saturday to Tuesday 18:00 - 06:00 and Week 2: Saturday to Wednesday 18:00 - 06:00
This roles also attracts premium payments for weekend working and is on a guaranteed hours contracts. Full training for the successful candidates will be provided.

• Management of operations within the Machine Room Area
• Management of workers within area in line with Company Policies and Procedures in a professional manner
• Follow the production planning schedules to achieve plan attainment within all KPI specifications and quality standards
• Ensure all staff in areas are trained and competent; liaising with the Training Department
• Ensure all prep documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner
• Involvement in problem solving and process improvement, including NCR resolution and other projects
• Ability to deputise for Area Leader
