THE OPPORTUNITY

Our Lysaght business is looking for a Production Team Member to join the Production Team based in Darwin. Made in Australia since 1921, Lysaght manufactures and markets steel building products that have helped shape the nation: from iconic corrugated roofing over Australian homes, to large commercial and industrial projects.
Being in a production role with us, you’ll be working in a continuous production environment, operating machinery to create premium building products. Using 100% Australian made steel in the manufacturing process, you’ll be key to providing customers with what they need, when they need it. You’ll receive ongoing training and support to learn all aspects of the role allowing for future career development opportunities!

Responsibilities:

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

In this hands-on and varied role, you will be responsible for:

  • providing our valued customers a first-class customer experience
  • loading and unloading of trucks and safety co-ordinating customer pickups
  • operating forklifts and other machine processing equipment
  • picking and packing from stock on-site to create specific orders
  • being responsible for the safety of yourself and your co-workers

As someone who enjoys a physical and active role. You will bring:

  • currently holding or willingness to obtain a forklift ticket
  • high level of attention to detail
  • ability to think on your feet providing safe and workable solutions
