Mitsui High-tec (Canada), Inc. is a newer manufacturing facility in Brantford and we require Production Team Members to join our team! There is huge potential for future growth due to our state of the art technology in the ever growing eco-friendly vehicles market. As a company we would like people that can grow with us and be an important asset for many years to come.   We are hiring for the following shifts:  Weekend 2nd Shift (Friday to Sunday 6pm - 6am)   Benefits of the Role: * Competitive compensation, with paid shift premiums * Excellent Total Rewards Package (100% company paid medical/dental benefits, vacation, RRSP) * Clean and safe, temperature & humidity controlled manufacturing environment * Employer paid uniform, including safety shoes & safety glasses * Permanent, full time positions * Training, development, and growth opportunities  Duties & Responsibilities: * Assemble parts, off load and transfer parts * Operate high tech machinery and assist machine operators * Perform & Document in Process Quality inspections/quality checks * Ensure daily production requirements are met * Maintain 5S * Other duties, as required  Qualifications: * Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment is considered asset but is not mandatory * Stamping/Press & Die/Molding/Annealing Experience an asset * Visual inspection experience is an asset * Knowledge and experience with 5S & Kaizen systems preferred but not mandatory * Ability to lift up to 50 lbs * Attention to detail in all areas of work * Must be able to take direction comfortably, able to multi-task, managing time efficiently to obtain optimum results * Manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination and standing for extended periods required * Must be legally entitled to work in Canada   Previous experience in general labour, general labourer, general laborer, general labor, automotive manufacturing, machine operator, visual inspection, quality checks Mitsui High-tec (Canada), Inc. strives to create a respectful, accessible and inclusive work environment. Upon individual request, hiring processes will be modified to remove barriers to accommodate those with disabilities.
