REQUIREMENTS:

  • Diploma in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or other related engineering qualification (e.g.NITEC).
  • Minimum 3 years of working experience within Chemical Plant.
  • Basic understanding of chemical processes.
  • Able to work shifts and overtime as required.
  • Open to fresh graduates.
Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Run production operation in accordance with the Company’s Quality, EHS System.
  • Responsible and accountable for the implementation of company procedures in production with the aim to continuously improving EHS performance.
  • Wear PPE as per company policy.
  • Manufacture chemical products in line with the weekly production schedule based on the working instructions from Production Order.
  • Ensure all raw materials and packing materials are available before commencement of weekly production and inform immediate superior if there are any shortfalls.
  • Ensure all raw materials are correctly identified and accurately recorded for missing material.
  • Ensure all production products are maintained to the quality requirement and adhere to all special processes for the product.
  • Stop production and report immediately for any observed discrepancies.
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping in the production area in accordance with the ISO, EHS for Safety and other Governance requirements.
  • Complete all process and administrative documentation correctly.
  • Carry out other duties and responsibilities appropriately to your skills and experience as and when assigned.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance and checks to all production plant / equipment facilities.

  • Maintain an efficient and professional image of the Production Department as well as the Company as a whole.
  • On-Call-Service for all production related matters.
  • Member of Emergency Response Team.

PRIMARY EHS RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work in a manner that complies with the Company EHS Policy.
  • Use the prescribed safe work practices and approved procedures.
  • Work in a manner that prevents self-inflicted injury or injury to others.
  • Maintain a safe, healthy and environmentally friendly workplace.
  • Use personal protective equipment, where specified, in a proper manner.
  • Report any sub-standard conditions and behaviours, including near miss and incident, to immediate superior.
  • Follow the practices implemented by the Management in adhering to legal and other requirements.
