Description

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or associate degree preferred.
  • 1–3 years of experience in mechanical or electromechanical assembly (robotics, automotive, or industrial equipment a plus).
  • Strong mechanical aptitude, especially with hands-on experience in personal or professional vehicle or machinery repairs.
  • Proven attention to detail, with the ability to follow complex instructions and maintain quality throughout repetitive tasks.
  • Comfortable using a variety of hand and power tools (wrenches, sockets, torque tools, drills, etc.).
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and follow work instructions.
  • Basic understanding of mechanical systems, fasteners, torque specs, and alignments.
  • Familiarity with electrical components, wiring harnesses, and basic diagnostics is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Enthusiasm for hands-on work and learning new technical skills.
  • Successfully complete pre-employment onboarding requirements that may include criminal/civil background checks
Responsibilities
  • Assemble robots and related sub-assemblies according to standardized work instructions and procedures.
  • Follow detailed work instructions and checklists to ensure accurate and consistent assembly.
  • Maintain high standards of precision and attention to detail throughout the build process.
  • Use mechanical knowledge to identify potential fitment, alignment, or functionality issues.
  • Perform in-process inspections and functional testing to verify quality and completeness.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and basic electrical issues during assembly.
  • Communicate build issues with manufacturing engineering and quality teams and assist in root cause analysis.
  • Keep a clean, organized, and safe work area following 5S and safety best practices.
  • Report part shortages, discrepancies, or damaged components.
  • Contribute to process improvements by identifying inefficiencies or quality concerns.
