Role Overview Genus PLC has an exciting opportunity! We are looking for a full time Production Lab Technician to oversee production operations, including assembly, processing and/or packaging. The position is located in Hamilton Matangi, working 2nd Shift Hours – 15:00 to 23:30. Starting pay is $27.37 per hour. The Production Lab Technician has primary accountability for setting production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency, materials supply, staffing resources and volume required to meet demand and to ensure maximum production quantity and quality. You Will Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Follow Standard Operating Procedures and maintain lab documentation Learn other ancillary processes throughout the production lab as business needs necessitate, such as but not limited to: Centrifuge/tubes table Sample making Washing dishes Incoming quality control Troubleshoot issues that arise. Communicate issues with appropriate personnel (leads, supervisors, manager, or support group). Provide ideas for improvement in the work environment (relentless improvement and/or RIB cards). Ability to maintain professional verbal and written communications with co-workers, internal and external customers, and vendors at all times. Experience in a laboratory or equivalent production environment is preferred but not essential, all training will be provided. Strong attention to detail and focus on maintaining the highest level of quality at all times.
