About the Role We are seeking a Production Technician I to join our team at the Augusta Plant. In this role, you will operate and monitor packaging equipment, perform quality checks, and ensure production goals are achieved safely and efficiently. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to build a long-term career in manufacturing. Key Responsibilities * Operate and monitor packaging equipment (baggers, palletizers, heat sealers, sifters). * Package products and construct packaging containers. * Perform in-process quality checks and maintain accurate production logs. * Assist with equipment setup and minor maintenance tasks. * Maintain a clean and safe work environment and actively participate in safety programs. Qualifications * High School Diploma or GED required. * 1–3 years of manufacturing experience preferred (entry-level candidates welcome). * Ability to follow verbal and written instructions. * Basic computer skills and strong teamwork ethic. * Forklift certification is a plus (training available). Physical & Environmental Requirements * Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally. * Frequent standing, walking, and bending. * Work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, chemicals, and temperature variations. * PPE provided and required.
