Description

The Production Technician is an essential member of the Leaf Infusions operation. We are looking for a team player with a positive attitude, who is detail oriented and adaptable. Computer skills and previous experience in production/manufacturing environment is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:

As a Production Technician, you are:

  • You are a vocal leader with a passion for cannabis – passion for, and experience with cannabis is an asset, but not required

REQUIREMENTS

  • 1+ years of experience in a fast-paced production setting with at least 20 staff members
  • Experience in a manufacturing setting
  • Demonstrated excellence in communication, problem solving and organization
  • Ability to self-manage – understand what needs to be done and do it!
  • Strong attention to detail
Responsibilities
  • Take charge of our to deliver the portion of the daily production schedule assigned to you by Supervisors
  • Lead daily production activities as assigned by Supervisors, including:
  • Processing activities, including formulation, manufacturing of products
  • Extraction activities, assisting the lead extraction technicians
  • Packaging activities, including products packaging, topical production, vape cartridge production, gummy packaging and concentrate portioning
  • Take ownership of the delivery of our standard operating procedures for the production activity you are leading
  • Promote and maintain the highest levels of cleanliness; ensure all sanitation criteria are met
  • Help track and maintain consumable inventory levels
  • Complete inventory and quality record-keeping accurately and timely
  • Own production equipment: Understand how all production equipment works and be able to learn how to operate them
  • Assist the Production Supervisors to ensure preventative maintenance schedules are adhered to and breakdowns are corrected in a timely fashion
  • Provide feedback to Production Supervisors on improvement opportunities for our equipment
  • Take part in Continuous Improvement projects as directed by Production Supervisors
  • Maintain KPI tracking files accurately and on-time
  • Other duties as assigned
