JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

Our Plymouth manufacturing site is growing, and we are looking for a passionate and skilled Production Technician to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the production of medical devices that make a difference in healthcare worldwide. As part of a dynamic, collaborative team, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our assembly lines, ensuring seamless operations and high-quality output.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

• Diagnose and repair electro-mechanical faults promptly using methodical problem-solving techniques.
• Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and refurbish machinery and ancillary equipment offline.
• Ensure all manufacturing equipment is set up correctly to meet established Quality Control specifications and Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards.
• Monitor and improve line performance, identifying and resolving bottlenecks and areas of inefficiency.
• Support the installation and validation of new equipment and technology, ensuring smooth production transitions.
• Find opportunities for continuous improvement in processes and systems to enhance operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with multi-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
• Maintain a high level of safety awareness, particularly regarding electrical, compressed air, and pressurised systems.
