Description Responsibilities Read, interpret, and follow basic blueprints to accurately assemble custom Rugged Science products Manufacture custom cable assemblies Perform quality inspections to ensure the products meet quality standards Identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation when defects are identified Rework and/or repair products according to engineering specifications Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures Collaborate with Engineering and provide valuable input to increase manufacturability of products Accurately track labor time and material usage within ERP system (Global Shop) Maintain a clean and organized workstation Key Skills Two or more years of mechanical assembly experience Great attention to detail Basic computer skills Desire to work in a team environment Electrical assembly and point-to-point wiring experience (preferred) Soldering experience (preferred)

Responsibilities

The Production Technician is responsible for reading and interpreting blueprints to assemble custom products and manufacturing cable assemblies. They will also perform quality inspections and collaborate with engineering to improve manufacturability.
