This is a 1st shift, 40-hour per week position.
Sanofi Pasteur, the vaccines division of Sanofi, is based in Swiftwater, PA, producing over 120 million vaccine doses each year to help prevent disease.
Due to seasonal demand, staffing needs may increase during peak manufacturing periods.
We’re looking for detail-oriented team players who thrive in fast-paced environments.
Production Technicians are essential to ensuring high-quality vaccine manufacturing in compliance with cGMP and regulatory standards.
This role may involve temporary reassignment across Swiftwater buildings (e.g., 79, 59, 37) and occasional off-shift work based on business needs.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum of 6+ months of manufacturing or warehouse experience
  • Must be able to receive the influenza vaccine (required for building access)

Responsibilities
  • Prepares for production by ensuring material availability, completing sampling, and maintaining accurate cGMP documentation.
  • Participates in all aspects of production, including systems like SAP, LIMS, DeltaV, and material management tools.
  • Troubleshoots and communicates production issues, ensuring facility coverage and proactive team operations.
  • Supports quality efforts by identifying deviations, aiding investigations, and completing documentation (BPRs, logbooks, etc.).
  • Follows safety procedures and reports all incidents, concerns, or near-misses to management.
  • May assist with equipment setup, operation, troubleshooting, and support Commissioning, Qualification, and Validation (CQV) activities.
