Our sites comprise a variety of surface water, spring and borehole sources, water treatment centres and stream support boreholes.
Your role will involve working as part of a team to operate, maintain and optimise our water production sites to ensure we provide a reliable supply of high-quality drinking water to our customers while minimising our impact on the environment.
As a Production Technician, you will complete a mix of planned maintenance (ensuring compliance expectations are met) and reactive work (responding to site shutdowns/water quality issues), with the ability to prioritise tasks being essential. Once trained, you will take ownership of your own area of sites.
As the water industry is a 24/7 business, your role will involve some out-of-hours standby and weekend working. Health and safety are at the forefront of everything we do, so it’s essential that you always work to ensure the safety of yourself and others and comply with company procedures.
Full training will be provided covering all aspects of the role, including an industry-recognised NVQ in water treatment. A company van will also be provided for business use.
