Join us.   Position: Production Assembler/Technician  3-6 months Contractor   Location: Portland, OR Work Arrangement: 100% on-site   Position Description: DZYNE is looking for a Production Assembler/Technician Contractor for a 3-6 month position.  This position works on the manufacturing, production, and service of products.  This includes the on-time assembly, testing, quality, packaging, and shipping of US and international sales orders.  This position also has duties associated with the receiving of both inventory and non-inventory materials and supply items, inventory management and accuracy, processing WO’s, and conducting transactions in our ERP system. You will produce new units as well as conduct repairs. Repair activities include evaluating, estimating, and performing repairs, modification or overhaul of customer returned units to manufacturing specifications.   Preferred Skills/Qualifications: The employee must have the ability to perform essential job duties with or without reasonable accommodation and without posing a direct threat to safety or health of the employee or others. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties. * 5+ years’ experience working in an electro-mechanical manufacturing environment as a Production Assembler/Technician, including inventory control receiving, and shipping in an ITAR/Export Controlled environment. * Able to conduct oneself with a high degree of honesty and integrity. * Outstanding verbal/written communications skills. * High degree of creativity, flexibility, and resourcefulness in identifying and resolving issues. * Follow goals, policies and standard operating procedures of the organization. * Proficient with Microsoft Office products — Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams. * Strong written and verbal communication skills with a team orientation. * Work in cross functional teams. * Ability to solve problems quickly and efficiently.   Education: Associate’s degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience.   Clearance Level Required: None   Travel: None   Working Conditions: The diversity of work conditions may range from an environment where there is little or no physical discomfort, such as a general office environment, to warehouse and other facilities.   Physical Demands:  The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job: * Must have the ability to stoop, stand, climb, occasionally lift a minimum of 35 lbs. * Involves movement between departments, floors, and worksites to facilitate work. Work Authorization Requirement: Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without the need for current or future employment visa sponsorship.   Hourly Rate: $33.00- $47.85 per hour for 3-6 months Hourly rate depends on relevant work experience, education, training, essential skills, and/or other factors such as specialized or high-demand professions. In addition to the annual salary, the position will be eligible for an annual bonus.
