Description

Crane Aerospace and Electronics has an exciting opportunity for a Production Test Supervisor at our Fort Walton Beach, FL location. Hours are Monday-Friday 6am-3:30pm with a 9/80 schedule.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Production Test Supervisor will plan and direct all aspects of assigned Value Stream. Accountable for value stream’s performance and commitments to the customer with respect to safety, quality, delivery and cost. Works cooperatively with other functional leaders and managers to optimize the entire value stream in the eyes of the customer. Relentless in the pursuit of continuous improvement.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associates in EE required. BSEE nice to have.
  • 3 or more years of experience in a manufacturing role focused on continuous process improvement and lean manufacturing.
  • Hands-on leadership of a 20+ person team preferred.
  • Advanced communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Demonstrated ability to accurately assess KPIs.
  • Eligibility Requirement: This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. If applicable, final offers will be contingent on ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information from the U.S. Government. Additionally, as a US Department of Defense contractor, we are bound by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Applicants selected could be subject to a Government security investigation and must meet the eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Responsibilities
  • Continually supervises staff to ensure internal and external customer demands are met.
  • Manage the magnetic fabrication and assembly personnel.
  • Direct the manufacturing of products at the lowest possible cost and the highest quality.
  • Work and manage cross-functionally to exceed customer requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement.
  • Develop and hire a skilled, technically proficient, and motivated customer-focused team.
  • Sustain a safe workplace through the establishment and support of Company policy.
  • Lead kaizen events.
  • Design, develop, and implement the kaizen roadmap.
  • Tracks team’s achievement of Standard Work
  • Create and execute data driven action plans to improve standard work and performance.
  • Capacity and capability planning
  • New equipment and capital equipment requests
  • Assist in achieving Strategic Plan objectives.
  • Participates in monthly program reviews.
