RESPONSIBILITIES   * Directly trains and coordinates the activities of production employees in the assigned area following all product specifications and company policies * Follows up and reinforces information provided to new employees in orientation * Thorough knowledge and understanding of position requirements of assigned line/department and competently demonstrates the skills of each position on the line * Adheres to all workplace and food safety policies and procedures outlined by the company and required by federal, state, and local laws * Develops a competent workforce by utilizing hands-on training methods in the work area * Evaluates trainee progress and maintain records of trainee’s progress and achievements * Communicates and collaborates with all levels of management within the organization * In the absence of a supervisor, supervises and coordinates the activities of production employees under the direction of a general supervisor * Communicates effectively with all employees and provides direction, instructions, and feedback based on the experience level of the employee * Follows up and provides appropriate feedback and recognition based on level of performance
