PRODUCTION & WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE / FORKLIFT DRIVER

Avanor Healthcare Ltd are a manufacturer and distributor of antiperspirants, deodorants and toiletries based on Rackheath Industrial Estate, established in 2006.
Due to continued expansion we have a full time vacancy for a Production and Warehouse Operative to join our friendly team in our busy Rackheath warehouses.

Duties to include:

• Loading and unloading of vans, lorries and containers both by hand, pedestrian forklift or electric forklift truck
• Checking in deliveries, un-packing and quality controlling goods.
• Ensure the correct storage of goods in warehouse.
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
• Operating production machinery to fulfil orders.
• Packing manufactured goods into cartons and cases.
• Processing paperwork associated with shipment manifests.
• Pick and Pack direct to consumer shipments ensuring high standard and accuracy.
• Liaising with freight forwarders and couriers and preparing export paperwork.

Requirements:

• Honest, reliable and hardworking individual capable of working in a team
• Attention to detail is a must – warehouse can be very busy.
• Ability to perform manual tasks and lift correctly.
• Ability to use basic computer programs an advantage but not essential as training on our software will be provided.
• Be willing to speak professionally via phone and email.
• Forklift licence preferred but not essential as we will provide forklift training for the right candidate.

Position Details:

• Full time role. Monday – Friday 9-5pm
