Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a full time qualified Production Welder at Moddex in Rowville, VIC.
Your days will be busy and varied, and will include:
Fabrication/Welding
- Assembly of balustrade panels as shown on production drawings.
- Welding of balustrade panels as per company weld procedure & specification.
- General “as needed” fabrication for workshop improvements or testing purposes.
Operation of Pipe Saw
- Cut pipe & other materials to specific lengths as shown on production drawings.
- Pack cut lengths in a way appropriate for the next process stage.
- Dimensional & Quality Checks
Assisting the Area Production Manager with suggestions for improvement in safety, efficiency and quality and providing factory floor support where needed
