From early-stage prototyping to high-volume production. Job Summary: This position will require the setup, programing and running of robotic welders. Hand welding of production and prototype parts and spot and projection welding will also be required. Function of Position: Setup, adjust, and program robotic MIG welders Setup, inspect, and weld production and prototype parts Setup and adjust hand MIG welder Assist with cleaning, maintenance, and housekeeping as needed Will be required to perform work outside the welding department as needed This is a full-time position with a potential starting time of 5 or 5:30 am. Our benefit package includes: - Medical - Dental - Vision - Life Insurance - 401k employer contributions - Vacation Time - Sick Time Requirements Qualifications and Skills: Minimum 1-3 years of work experience or equivalent training Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent Basic welding skills in both MIG and TIG Robotic welder programming experience required Must be able to read and interpret calipers, micrometers, and blueprints Must follow written and verbal instructions Must have good basic math skills Perform heavy lifting – must be able to lift 50 lbs. Ability to communicate and work with people in office, factory, and inspection Must work well independently and in a team environment MUST be safety oriented
Responsibilities
This role involves the setup, programming, and operation of robotic MIG welders, alongside performing hand welding for both production and prototype components. The technician will also be responsible for setting up and adjusting hand MIG welders and assisting with general maintenance and housekeeping tasks.
