Ability Bottle Depot is recruiting TWO Production Workers for a full-time 6-month term position with the possibility of extension (40 hours per week)
Ability Bottle Depots are operated by the Ability Resource Association and located at 1610-29 Street North and 2915-32 Street South. These Production Worker positions will be based at the north bottle depot but may be scheduled to work shifts at the south depot when needed.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Providing professional/courteous customer service
  • Maintaining physical ability and stamina to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Completing tasks according to instructions and demonstrating responsibility and accountability
  • Performing positively in a team-based environment
  • Remaining productive throughout your shift
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Effective verbal communication skills
  • Punctuality and reliability
  • Processing customer orders efficiently, following standardized procedures
  • Accurately counting/sorting containers
  • Operating cash register/Point of Return (POR) system
  • Following all Association Policies and Procedures
  • Completing other tasks as required and instructed

Qualifications include:

  • Ability to work shifts as scheduled, Monday through Saturday, 8:45 a.m. – 5:15 p.m.
  • Be physically fit to stand for long periods, transfer and lift bins, and complete repetitive physical movements throughout shift, etc.
  • Must have or be able to provide a Police Information Check, including the Vulnerable Sector Check
  • Ability to meet established accuracy and quality standards
  • Must have a valid Social Insurance Number at the start of employment and be legally entitled to work in Canada
