Description Job Title: Production Worker Department Name: Manufacturing Reports to (title): Plant Manager Business Unit: Fort Mill Job Summary: Responsible for receiving materials from vendors, put away, label and stock material, keep all areas clean and organized. The primary function is to prepare material and assembler products according to the style of the order. Responsible for assisting in the manufacturing, handling, and preparation of vinyl products within a warehouse environment. This role involves operating basic production equipment, cutting and handling vinyl materials, packaging finished products, and maintaining a clean and safe work area while meeting quality and productivity standards. Essential Job Functions: Operate production equipment used for cutting, rolling, laminating, or preparing vinyl materials Measure, cut, and inspect vinyl products according to work orders and specifications Load and unload vinyl rolls and finished goods safely Package, label, and prepare vinyl products for shipping or storage Perform visual quality checks to ensure products meet company standards Maintain accurate production and inventory records as required Follow all safety procedures, including proper handling of tools and materials Keep workstations clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards Assist with general warehouse tasks such as picking, staging, and organizing materials Work collaboratively with team members to meet production deadlines Takes Direction from Group Leader Fill out non-production sheet Requirements Required Skills & Abilities: High school diploma or GED preferred Previous warehouse or production experience preferred (vinyl or manufacturing experience a plus) Ability to read measurements and follow written and verbal instructions Basic math skills for measuring and counting materials Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks Attention to detail and quality Time management and reliability Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Team-oriented with a positive attitude Basic knowledge of warehouse safety practices Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with or without assistance Measurement knowledge and measurements notations Basic Knowledge of tools Physical Requirements: Ability to lift a 50 lb Warehouse setting with exposure to vinyl materials and production equipment Standing, bending, reaching, and lifting required throughout the shift Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required DISCLAIMER The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this classification.
