OVERVIEW

Stover & Company / Eleven o’One Chocolate Company is a family-owned business that’s been operating in bakery and confectionery wholesale distribution for 75years. We supply all of your favorite Pittsburgh area bakeries with the ingredients they need and produce our own brands of confectionery products.
We’re looking for someone to join our tight-knit team to help support our production growth at Eleven o’One Chocolate. The ideal candidate will possess values of hard work, integrity, positivity and initiative while bringing a detail-oriented approach and sincere effort each and every day. This is a fast-paced role, so the candidate must be able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, manage time efficiently & meet deadlines.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. High School diploma or equivalent
2. Experience in food safety & hygiene practices preferred
3. Must have a positive, “get the job done” attitude
4. Ability to work independently when required, as well as work well as a member
   of a team working together toward common goals
5. Must be able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines & manage
   time efficiently
6. Ability to lift up to 50lbs & possess physical ability to work at a fast, accurate
   pace throughout the shift
7. Strong organizational & communication skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Knowledge of food safety, preferably SQF requirements & procedures
2. Production line experience, preferably in food or quality control

Responsible for Eleven o’One Chocolate Company production and packaging
efforts, with a focus on food safety, food handling, certifications & compliance.
 Follow best practices & industry-provided guidelines to package
confectionery products to company quality control standards.
 Accurately package & label products to ensure all Best-By Dates, Production
Codes, Barcodes, etc. are in compliance with food quality standards.
 Clean & sanitize production machinery as outlined.
 Perform machinery maintenance & troubleshooting as needed.
 Assist with relocating pallets of product using tools such as pallet jack &
walk-behind lift.
 Identify areas for improvement within the production department processes
to support the company’s overall objectives.
 Basic computer knowledge with the ability to learn basic software.
 Work with internal teams to ensure branding practices are followed.
 Replenish Inventory of packaging materials as needed.
 All other duties as assigned by the Manager.
