The MJ Group is a leading specialist in the Sheepskin and Leather industry. Having been established in Melbourne since 1991, our main business is in the tanning of premium Australian Kangaroo products.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Demonstrate attention to detail
• Must be reliable and trustworthy by nature
• Be a self-starter and motivator
• Basic production worker experience desirable but not essential
• Be aware of safe WH&S practice
• This role involves lifting of hides and physical movements, so would be suited to someone who is physically fit with reasonable strength.
• A forklift license will be ideal but not essential, and any experience in hide tanning will be advantageous.

We are currently seeking Production Operators to join our team at our new tannery located in Laverton North 3026, working day shifts Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:30pm
As a Production Operator, you will be required to complete various manufacturing processes associated with manufacturing leather to meet daily targets.
Training will be provided on the job, so no prior experience is necessary.
