JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and hands-on Production and Assembly Technician to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling, testing, and inspecting products and components according to specifications, supporting production workflows, and maintaining high-quality standards. This position plays a key role in ensuring our products meet performance and quality expectations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is an asset.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment preferred.
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings, diagrams, and instructions.
  • Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment.
  • Basic understanding of mechanical and/or electrical systems is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good organizational skills and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel when needed.
Responsibilities
  • Assemble components, subassemblies, and finished products using hand tools, power tools, and equipment based on work instructions and technical drawings.
  • Track inventory and parts usage; proactively report shortages.
  • Perform mechanical, electrical, or electronic assembly tasks as required by the product type.
  • Fill ink cartridges and conduct testing for industrial printers.
  • Operate and maintain production machinery safely and efficiently.
  • Inspect finished products and components to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Troubleshoot basic assembly and production issues; escalate complex problems to the supervisor.
  • Provide installation and technical support as required, including potential customer site visits.
  • Travel within Ontario or across Canada, when necessary, for installation or support.
  • Record production processes and completed orders accurately in the company portal.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace while following all safety protocols.
  • Complete all required production and quality documentation.
  • Collaborate with team members and departments to achieve production goals and deadlines.
  • Comply with all company policies, procedures, and quality control standards.
