Production Worker Unitex is searching for Production Workers in Hartford, CT. Compensation: $17.70/hour. The salary range for this position is $17.70/hour to $17.70/hour. Actual compensation decisions are based on factors such as experience, seniority, location, and other permissible job-related factors. Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6:00AM-2:30PM. To be discussed during screening prior to interview Benefits: * Union position with benefits * Enhance your skill set * On the job training * Work uniforms are provided to you at no cost * Paid time off for vacation, personal, sick and holidays * Tremendous growth opportunity – we promote from within regularly Responsibilities: * Sorts incoming laundry * Puts dry linen (pillowcases, towels, gowns, underpads, etc.) through folding machines * Puts wet sheets and blankets into irons * Packs out clean linen by customer order Requirements: * Full time, 7:00am - 5:30 PM * Ability to stand for a 10-hour shift * Ability to work efficiently and quickly * Performs activities as directed on the production line * Responsible for following all safety policies/procedures * Follows PPE/hygiene policies * Ability to communicate clearly with management Physical Requirements: * This position requires frequent walking, standing, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and stooping. This position is constantly subject to machine noise, hot and humid temperatures. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Responsibilities

The Production Worker is responsible for sorting incoming laundry and operating folding machines for linens. They also manage the ironing of sheets and blankets and pack clean linen according to customer orders.
