EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum of 3 years Sales/Marketing/Prof Ed/Med Affairs experience in Medical Device or Pharma/Device combo Industry
  • Experience implementing education plans, strategies, practices, policies, and processes for medical education programs (e.g., field clinical, physician proctor, non-physician proctor training, fellows’ programs)
  • Consistent record of establishing relationships with Medical Device related Key Opinion Leaders
  • A record of success, measured by accomplishments vs. objectives.
  • A strong sense of initiative, ownership and personal accountability.
  • Proven track record to work with others in a team environment.
  • Experience in partnering with multiple internal & external stakeholders to deliver against the business strategy.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities passionate about hiring, developing, and retaining a world-class team as well as success driving results.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor a team of surgical education specialists and assistants.
  • Collaborate with the EMEA regional marketing managers and the global surgical education team to develop and execute a comprehensive strategic plan for the surgical education team, aligning with the organization’s goals and objectives.
  • Work with cross functional team to align on the standardization of education initiatives.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders, including surgeons, healthcare professionals, medical device manufacturers, and regulatory bodies, to ensure the relevance and impact of educational initiatives.
  • Ensure alignment and management of online and in-person courses/programs.
  • Develop relationships with strategically aligned speakers and KOL’s as needed.
  • Support the development of new Surgical Education Speakers as needed.
  • Build training materials and presentation/delivery of internal training programs (e.g. Shape the Future, Level 1 / 2 training).
  • Utilize tools to monitor and measure the surgical education program’s efficiency and effectiveness
  • Ensure all educational programs comply with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices in medical education.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
