This role reports to the Project Delivery Team Lead (Northwest) within the Transportation Services Group (TSG) and will support transportation projects from concept through construction while mentoring a team of EITs. The successful candidate will perform the following duties: Technical Responsibilities Support and mentor transportation engineering staff in the Kennewick office and across the TSG. Lead delivery of local, state, private, and federally funded transportation projects. Conduct quality control and assurance for engineering deliverables. Utilize or be willing to learn: Autodesk Civil 3D Bentley Open Roads Microsoft Office Suite Transportation Group Responsibilities Contribute to strategic planning for transportation group operations. Provide technical guidance on a wide range of traffic and transportation projects. Mentor EITs and project engineers. Manage workloads and identify resource needs. Collaborate with design engineers across multiple offices. Business Development Responsibilities Support business development efforts under the direction of local project managers. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering. Professional Engineer license, with ability to become licensed in WA, OR, and ID. 8–20 years of progressive transportation engineering experience. Demonstrated ability to manage schedules and deliverables. Strong collaborative, communication, and writing skills. Applicable Career Path Titles Project Engineer – Lead (Typically 4 or more years of licensure) Project Engineer – Senior (Typically 10 or more years of licensure) Salary Range: $115,000-$155,000 per year, determined by experience.
