Description
Responsibilities
You hold a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent working experience;
You have five (5) to ten (10) years of experience with engineering related to aircraft Interiors, Structure and/or Systems;
Knowledge of CATIA V5 (2D & 3D), Autocad and MS Office, Siemens NX is an asset;
You are an autonomous person, capable of working with a minimum of supervision;
You have good project management skills and understanding of impact of deliverables on project schedules;
You have a thirst for knowledge, like to discover the “why” and find solutions to problems;
You are able to quickly absorb information and, in some cases, ready to learn to support various requests;
You are open-minded, able to easily change direction and pursue new avenues in order to successfully accomplish your projects;
You are a team player, who easily integrates himself/herself to a group and is ready to help colleagues. You support and demonstrate a spirit of innovation, professionalism and commitment;
You have a good grasp of French and English, oral and written, enabling you to interact with customers, impacted groups and you are comfortable leading discussions;
You have knowledge of aircraft certification (Type Design and Supplemental Type Design, major repairs/modification, etc.) (an asset).
