* Shape future teachers through real-world placements  * Build and sustain strong partnerships with New Zealand schools  * Collaborate within a strong supportive team   Ngā kōrero mō te tūranga – About the role We are seeking a dedicated and experienced person to take up the role of Professional Experience Coordinator Primary Education. We are also advertising a similar role which requires Secondary Education knowledge. Both positions will be based on the Tauranga campus and will work closely with our Hamilton team. In this pivotal role, you will lead the coordination and delivery of professional experience placements, working closely with schools, academic staff, and student teachers. You will ensure high-quality, research-informed professional experiences that meet Teaching Council requirements and support student success. You will play a key role in building and maintaining strong relationships with school partners, coordinating placements and visiting lecturers, contributing to programme development, and supporting the recruitment and selection of future teacher candidates. You will also contribute to teaching within Initial Teacher Education programmes. This is a varied and rewarding role for someone passionate about teacher education, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Salary will be in the range of $81,389 to $114,226 per year pro rata based on skills, knowledge and experience brought to the position.
