[Key Tasks & Responsibilities] Vendor Management: Manage vendors providing facilities maintenance services (e.g., HVAC, UPS, fire equipment, building management system (BMS)). Support with contracts negotiation, expenses, and manage budgets for vendor services. Helpdesk & Service Requests: Respond to helpdesk work related to equipment (e.g., equipment malfunctions, maintenance requests), responding to user requests. Prioritize and route service requests to appropriate vendors or internal teams. Safety & Compliance: Management of a safety work permit system, including the review and approval of work requests submitted by vendors. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols. Participate in safety inspections, fire drills, and emergency response activities. Facilities Maintenance Oversight: Monitor and adjust schedules for preventative and corrective maintenance activities. Support annual power shutdown activities. Respond to and troubleshoot facility emergencies (e.g., power outages, equipment failures). Data Management & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all facility-related activities and expenses. Input utility data into relevant systems.
