The successful candidate will be responsible for defending claims brought against construction professionals, including architects and engineers. The wider team handles a diverse range of contentious matters, including professional negligence claims, insurance and reinsurance disputes, policy coverage analysis, and construction-related claims involving property damage. The role will involve managing a personal caseload with minimal supervision, as well as supporting partners on complex, high-value files.
Key responsibilities include drafting detailed legal and technical documentation, advising clients on issues of liability and policy coverage, and liaising with insurer and insured clients, experts, and Counsel.
