A multi-discipline architectural, engineering, and environmental consulting firm is seeking a Professional Land Surveyor for their growing office in Windsor! Responsibilities: Perform in-office and field tasks related to land surveying projects Receive instructions on specific assignments, objectives and complex issues Calculate/record field data accurately Review job specifications and plan fieldwork methods/costs Review/download field data Prepare field notes and draw sketches for existing site conditions Discuss projects with supervisor daily after preparing detailed daily job reports Maintain/troubleshoot complex instrumentation Apply standard scientific/engineering techniques, procedures and criteria as needed to adapt standard methods/techniques in the field and office Requirements: Professional Land Survey License Substantial survey experience and strong knowledge of survey calculations, techniques and procedures Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D for drafting and editing surveys Understanding/experience for operating surveying equipment (Total Stations, Data Collectors, GPS RTK & Static Observations) Valid Driver’s License Salary is commensurate with experience.
