Description
Under general supervision, office work associated with the preparation and review of survey documents related to engineering, construction, topographic, boundary and other engineering surveys, as well as, the oversight and occasional participation in the related fieldwork. Essential Functions: Office Work: Preparation and review of survey documents of in-house and contract personnel; enter, compute and verify field data and record property information with the aid of CAD work station; prepare construction documents; research and produce sealed survey documents such as Right-of-Way strip maps, easements, legal descriptions and other documents; help solve problems and participate in unusual surveying projects; review office and field work for completeness and accuracy; maintain records and prepare reports; meet with engineers and survey consultants, and in-house personnel to enforce and assure correctness and overall consistency of District documents. Fieldwork: Oversee the work and/or serve as a team leader for a field survey party engaged in establishing property lines, construction staking, topographic and other engineering surveys. Additional Responsibilities: Perform related work as required or as delegated by supervisors.
