We are seeking a Professional Livestream Host to anchor Apple’s Douyin livestreams—leading the flow of each session, delivering commercial value propositions, and ensuring a seamless, engaging viewer experience. This role serves as both the guiding voice of the broadcast and a reliable fallback during unexpected issues, working in close partnership with Creative Pro Hosts to bring Apple products and experiences to life. The Professional Livestream Host serves as the anchor and safety net of Apple’s Douyin livestreams—ensuring smooth flow, delivering commercial impact, and supporting Creative Pros in presenting world-class demos. With strong on-air presence and steady control, this role guarantees every session feels engaging, polished, and distinctly Apple, no matter the circumstance. DESCRIPTION Responsibilities includes not limited to; Anchor & Flow Leader: Guide the overall flow of livestreams, introducing segments, transitioning between topics, and ensuring pacing stays dynamic and audience-focused. Commercial Storytelling: Present Apple’s value propositions clearly and persuasively, highlighting offers, purchasing pathways, and calls-to-action in a way that aligns with Apple’s brand voice. Audience Interaction: Engage directly with viewers through live Q&A, chat participation, and interactive prompts, ensuring audience needs and curiosities are addressed in real time. Partnership with Creative Pros: Co-host alongside Apple Creative Pros during product demonstrations, supporting transitions, amplifying product insights, and helping maintain clarity and energy. Crisis & Continuity Management: Act as the steady presence when technical issues or unexpected challenges arise—filling gaps with confidence, redirecting the audience, and ensuring professionalism under pressure. Preparation & Rehearsal: Work closely with Script Writers, Demo Creators, and Production teams to prepare talking points, smooth transitions, and commercial segments. Performance Evolution: Incorporate audience feedback and data-driven insights to continuously refine hosting style, pacing, and delivery. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Native Chinese speaker. Demonstrate expertise in Apple products and brand knowledge. Ability to discuss Apple assets in depth i.e. size, features and materials. Apple-related live streaming host experience At least 1 to 2 years of live streaming, hosting, or influencing experience—ideally in tech, consumer electronics, or e-commerce. 1 to 2 years of experience in a customer-driven retail environment. Positive and adaptable - a solution-oriented mindset for continuous improvement. Enjoy the spotlight and thrive on camera. Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment with cross-functional teams. Strong presentation and improvisation skills, with the ability to handle live challenges smoothly and maintain audience trust. Skilled at balancing professional delivery with warmth, energy, and relatability. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Host experience on Apple Douyin live-streaming is preferred. English proficiency is a plus. On-camera presence: confident, engaging, and adaptable to different audience moods and energy levels. Strong knowledge and passion for technology trends, gadgets, and digital culture in China. Experience with major Chinese livestream platforms: Douyin, Kuaishou, Taobao Live, WeChat Channels. Ability to think quickly on-air and respond to audience questions naturally and accurately. Comfort with sales-driven content and achieving measurable KPIs.
