Description
- Develop and maintain client relationships across Equity Derivatives, Fixed Income Derivatives, and Foreign Exchange settlements. - Responsible for the timely and accurate daily settlement confirmation. - Resolve and verify post-settlement issues and discrepancies with clients and Sales and Trading desk. - Collaborate with Operational management, sales and trading desks to diminish risk through escalation and strong communication. - Develop and improve existing processes and reporting. - Liaise with teammates and managers daily to provide client service, risk management, and superior Operational controls. - Work as part of the Global Settlements Team to assist with the development and testing of internal system enhancements and implementation of global consistency. - Desired industry knowledge and Derivative product process. - Accountability for completion of day to day work oversight, proactive root cause investigation, in addition to project work and testing. - Well-rounded, methodical person with strong analytical skills. - Ability and confidence to identify and raise risks/issues to management, and to suggest solutions to issues, process improvements or highlight gaps and areas of concern. - Attention to detail and accuracy is essential. - Japanese and English Communication skills both oral and written are essential (requires dealing with local and global counterparts on a regular basis). - Task orientated and inquisitive in nature, required to ensure issues and processes are challenged. - Self-motivated and have the ability to work consistently and efficiently to achieve goals either as an individual or as part of a team.
