As a Professional Service Engineer, you are expected to provide highly visible customer support through the performance of on-site installation, troubleshooting, service, and repair of complex equipment and systems. Reviews and approves operational quality of system equipment. Instructs customers in the operation and maintenance of the system. Serves as company liaison with customer on administrative and technical matters for assigned projects. Interprets customers’ needs and identifies if the responsibility for problem resolution falls to sales employees, or engineers. May promote the sale of service contracts The Opportunity Manages Site Readiness: Conducts pre-installation checks and provides consultation to ensure customer facilities are ready for new analyzer installations. Installs and Optimizes Analyzers: Installs and commissions Roche analyzers to ensure full functionality and adherence to specifications. Coordinates Problem Resolution: Collaborates with various internal teams to quickly resolve technical issues and expedite repairs. Maintains Operational Records: Keeps detailed records of performance reports and service activities. Manages Spare Parts Inventory: Maintains and monitors the balance of spare part stock. Provides Prompt Customer Support: Responds to customer inquiries, complaints, and service requests within 24 hours, providing prompt and complete solutions for instrument problems. Ensures Information Sharing: Shares critical updates and notifications on analyzers with team members to improve overall skill levels. Collaborates and Escalates: Works with regional service and support teams, escalating cases and reporting service activities and complaints in a timely manner according to company guidelines. Who you are Educational Requirement: Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required. Technical & Analytical Skills: Must have basic internet knowledge, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and a willingness to work in a hands-on, technical role. Interpersonal & Communication Abilities: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, with a preference for proficiency in English to collaborate with international colleagues. Work Ethic & Self-Management: Must be an innovative, responsible, and reliable self-starter with the ability to manage stress and deadlines in a demanding environment. Team-Oriented & Adaptable: A proven team player with strong organizational skills, a high energy level, and a willingness to travel to various client sites.
