About the Role As a Professional Services Engineer on the Cross Strategy & Operations Team, you will play a meaningful role in designing and delivering solutions that scale across multiple client-facing pods. This includes building automation, shared services, and internal tooling that empower our implementation managers and engineers to succeed. You will work closely with pod teams to anticipate challenges, reduce manual work, and ensure consistency and reliability in delivery. Your work will directly influence how we optimize client implementations, reduce human error, and create maintainable, future-ready systems. Key Responsibilities: Design, build, and maintain shared automation and tools that scale across teams. Contribute to strategic initiatives (e.g., self-service platforms, automation frameworks, and adaptation systems). Identify project risks, design gaps, and propose scalable solutions early in the development cycle. Collaborate with pod teams to enable new features for customers while ensuring reusability and consistency. Build robust, automated solutions with strong test coverage that align with professional services standards. Show initiative by proactively improving processes, escalating risks, and championing best practices. About You Basic Qualifications: 3+ years of experience developing software solutions in Python. Proven track record of owning, managing, and delivering technical projects end-to-end. Passion for automation, scalability, and reducing human error through thoughtful design. Experience with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases, with an understanding of indexes and performance optimization. Familiarity with microservices architecture and containerization (Kubernetes, Docker). Strong collaboration skills, with experience mentoring or buddying engineers. Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of software design principles (SOLID, error handling, test-driven development). Familiarity with development lifecycle tools (JIRA, GitHub, CI/CD pipelines). Ability to thrive in startup-like, fast-moving environments. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a process-focused mindset. Excellent communication in English, with the ability to document and share learnings clearly.
