NiCE Actimize is seeking to hire a Software Engineer skilled at developing cloud solutions to join the Actimize team in Pune, India. We are looking for a talented and motivated professional interested in working on the latest Actimize offerings, with special emphasis on developing tools and defining practices that complement and enhance the deployment of our cloud solutions. Responsibilities Determine technical feasibility by evaluating requirements, analysis, and proposed solutions Prepare and install solutions by designing system specifications, standards, and programming Enhance existing solutions to meet client requirements by configuring and customizing software using Actimize, SQL, Java, and other technologies Test and approve software solutions, configurations, and customizations Provide information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing development and service issues Utilize software engineering tools such as configuration management systems, build processes, and debuggers Collaborate in peer code reviews, providing constructive comments and suggestions Deliver reliable solutions to a variety of problems using sound problem-solving techniques Perform technical root cause analysis and outline corrective actions Mentor less experienced software engineers Estimate effort, evaluate new technology options, suggest process improvements, and provide design feedback Apply urgency, commitment, and focus to deliver technical solutions in a timely manner Review product/application information including manuals and brochures for technical accuracy Document and demonstrate solutions by creating SOPs, diagrams, clear code, and comments Have you got what it takes? 2–4 years of experience in software development Strong database skills: MS SQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle (Cassandra is a plus) Operating system knowledge: Windows and Linux Prior Actimize solution experience is a strong advantage AWS/Azure and container experience is a plus Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Strong written and spoken English Proactive and team-oriented approach Bonus Points Prior Actimize or Banking domain knowledge Background in scripting languages (Python, Shell script, PowerShell, etc.) What’s in it for you?
