About the Role: We’re looking for a Professional Services engineer who loves solving difficult challenges, working with the newest technologies, and is driven by an appetite for creativity. What you’ll be doing: As a Professional Services Engineer you will work on multiple platforms and environments with continuous learning of new technologies. Responsible for customer cloud-based and on-prem solutions design and implementation, infrastructure support and maintenance. In addition, working with internal interfaces (Application Support, DevOps, R&D, QA), on-going Tasks Managemant and taking responsibility for the advanced technical solutions staging, Serviceability Tools and Knowledge Sharing. Requirements 3+ years’ experience working as a System Engineer \ Application Support Engineer Advanced knowledge of IT systems, including solutions implementation, networking, servers, and Web-based applications Excellent understanding and experience in Linux, Cloud environments and VMware ESX domains Experience in installing, configuring, and maintaining servers both virtual (Cloud\ESX VMs)) and physical Experience in Linux and Windows script languages (BASH, PowerShell) – strong advantage Experience with deploying infrastructure (IaaS) solutions to Cloud platforms – Azure/AWS Solid understanding of Database concepts (Postgres, Oracle) - strong advantage Solid Knowledge Base maintenance approach and Knowledge sharing attitude Experience in Customer Support and ability to work with worldwide global customers. Solid Tasks Management approach and “influence with no authority” experience Ability to operate under pressure in deadline-driven situations and business emergencies Problem solver: proven troubleshooting skills, result- driven, make it happen’ approach. English speaking and writing in high level. Other languages – advantage Certifications: CCNA, MCSE, AWS\Azure – advantage Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) with attention to details
Responsibilities
The engineer will design and implement customer cloud-based and on-prem solutions, providing infrastructure support and maintenance across multiple platforms.
