ABOUT US
Independent Training Services Ltd. and SmartStyle Training Ltd. (ITS) are national training providers. Whether you are looking for employability skills, apprenticeships or professional training courses, we consistently deliver quality vocational training and education from the classroom to the boardroom.
By bringing together our expertise in commercial training, workforce development and apprenticeships we are well-placed to make a real difference to individual students and businesses alike.
We provide quality training to students who are already employed or preparing to enter into their chosen profession. Our comprehensive portfolio includes accredited end-user IT, business and employability skills courses for individual students, alongside apprenticeships and workforce development for local, regional and national employers. These are delivered by our in-house team of experienced and qualified trainers online, at employer sites and through our network of training centres.
ABOUT YOU
We’re looking for a candidate who is confident and knowledgeable across one or more of the service industries such as Customer Service, Business Administration, Hospitality, Human Resources, Project Management, Marketing, Digital, or Financial Services. You’ll need to have strong occupational competence in these areas, alongside a genuine passion for supporting our learners to develop their skills and progress in their careers.
You should have at least 2 years’ experience delivering high-quality apprenticeship provision, particularly in leadership and management. Experience working one-to-one with learners is essential, as is the ability to build positive relationships with employers. You’ll be skilled in preparing learners for assessments, including End Point Assessment (EPA), and comfortable using e-portfolio systems to track progress and manage records.
An effective communicator and organiser, you’ll be able to plan and deliver engaging, tailored teaching sessions that meet individual learner needs. You’ll be adaptable and confident in using technology to support learning and assessments to enable you to successfully manage a varied workload.
