What You’ll Do: Apply the nursing process within the Relationship-Based Care model to deliver personalized, holistic care Collaborate with the entire care team, using solid communication and critical thinking to support excellent patient outcomes Serve as a mentor, educator, and resource to students, new staff, and fellow nurses Participate in shared governance, quality improvement projects, and clinical innovation Maintain comprehensive documentation that promotes safe, efficient care coordination Scrub into cases as part of your role Create healing environments by building strong relationships with patients, families, and colleagues Demonstrate leadership through flexibility, accountability, and a passion for continuous learning Final title and salary are based on your experience and education, aligned with UPMC’s nursing career ladder. Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances: UPMC approved national certification preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Registered Nurse (RN) OR Temporary Practice Permit (TPP) Current licensure either in the state where the facility is located or, if the facility is in a state covered by the multistate Nursing Licensure Compact (NLC) agreement, a multistate license issued by a participating NLC state. Hires and current employees working on an out-of-state NLC license who later change their residency to the state where the facility is also located will have 60 days upon changing their residency to apply for licensure within that state. Responsibilities

The nurse will apply the nursing process within the Relationship-Based Care model to deliver personalized, holistic care while collaborating with the entire care team to support excellent patient outcomes. Responsibilities also include serving as a mentor, participating in quality improvement projects, maintaining documentation, scrubbing into cases, and building strong relationships with patients and families.
