Responsibilities
  • Demonstrates commitment to quality improvement, patient satisfaction, and evidence-based care.
  • Builds positive relationships across departments and with patients and families.
  • Applies critical thinking and clinical judgment in complex environments, managing changing priorities and specialized equipment.
  • Provides holistic, patient-centered care through effective communication, education, and coordination with physicians.
  • Supports professional development, shared governance, and continuous learning.
  • Maintains comprehensive documentation, promotes safety, and fosters a compassionate care experience.
  • Adapts to change, models work-life balance, and upholds accountability, cultural awareness, and teamwork.
  • Minimum six months experience preferred.
  • Previous Pediatric experience preferred
  • Previous Outpatient experience preferred
  • BSN preferred.
  • Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care and/or interact appropriately to the ages of the patients served by his/her assigned unit as specified below.
  • Must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient’s status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient’s requirements relative to his/her age-specific needs and to provide the care needs as described in the department policy and procedures.
